With over twenty years’ experience of working closely with insurance companies to resolve their needs, the RGI Group is one of the most dynamic ICT companies in Italy today, with a proven leadership position in the provision of software products and consulting and outsourcing services specifically for the insurance industry.

The parent company RGI specializes in the development and implementation of ERP solutions for the entire range of distribution channels. RGI has been a technologically innovative company since its 1987 beginnings in Ivrea, in a field characterized by a strong industrial inheritance and the firmly established culture of innovation that has always formed the basis of its industrial progress.

    RGI got its start as a software house specializing in information systems for banks. RGI's first success involved automating Banca San Paolo’s teller windows, but soon shifted its attention to the challenges facing the insurance industry. PassBroker is the first software application developed exclusively for brokers. RGI then went on to develop the Pass line, a range of software products specifically geared to the insurance industry that make it possible to consistently achieve commercial and productive success.

Today RGI is traded on the Stock Exchange, with 9 subsidiary companies and sales of almost 40 million Euros, employing over 500 people in 5 Italian and 2 foreign offices.
The extremely high standing of the RGI Group’s insurance clientele is synonymous with the reliability, level of skill, and quality of the services we provide: approximately 400 insurance brokers and seven premier Italian insurance groups have chosen our technical solutions.
        From 2003 through to the present day, RGI has increased the number of services it offers thanks to our business diversification activities, constituted by the subsidiaries RGIOutsourcing, 3esse, SistemaSinistri and RGIVita.
The 2007 acquisition of Quid web&media enabled the Group to offer the market a broad range of services and products, conveyed by means of a growing network of increasingly specialized companies that have established our presence throughout Italy as the technological partner par excellence.

2008 marked the launch of a phase of international expansion with the founding of the subsidiaries RGI Ireland and RGI France, and the sanctioning of an even greater commitment to research and development activities, thanks to the founding of the company BioDigitalValley, dedicated to conducting research and development in markets with high business potential.
      ICT is synonymous with efficiency, simplicity of management, rapid response and change.
In order to achieve a market consensus of this breadth over the space of 20 plus years, the Group has made these concepts its own and consistently focused special attention on new technological orientations: in fact, over the past three years, RGI has invested almost 19% of sales proceeds and dedicated approximately 10% of its human resources to technical and scientific activities geared to the development, experimentation and testing of products, systems and cutting-edge prototypes. The RGI Group actually has its own research and development center, located in our original factory in Ivrea, where all RGI software products originate and are developed.
